What is Lightning & Thunder

Did you know that Kindergartners get assigned research projects? Well, I didn't. But when your son comes to you 3 days before he's supposed to present his oral presentation on Lightning and Thunder (with graphics) to the rest of the Kindergarten class, you have to step-up and spend an hour making him a 2 minute presentation on Thunder and Lightning. This can live rent-free in your head from now on. You're Welcome

The main challenge with this project was time and tech savvy. Time for me, and tech savvy on the part of my son who would need to present this to his class. 

The primary issue was to ensure that my son not only understood how to read everything, but that he also knew when to advance the slides. So practice, practice, practice was vital to ensuring the success of his presentation. In addition to this I provided his teacher with a PowerPoint Show file (.ppsx). This ensured there would be no confusion in how to open the file and get it into presentation mode. 

Warner did an AMAZING job! I was allowed to attend the presentation and his teacher also taped it so it will be housed in Google Drive until I need to embarrass him as an adult. Sometimes it pays having a parent in the Learning and Development field.
